EMMONS BORDERFEST PARADE

We would like to invite you and your organization to have a float, marching unit, or other entry in the annual Emmons Borderfest parade. The parade will be taking place on Friday, August 15, 2008 at 6:30p.m. and will be followed by a street dance. This is a fantastic opportunity to promote your group or business. THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE!!! Additionally, there is no assigned parade numbers/order.
If you are interested in being a part of this fun-filled event, please call Jason at 507-297 -5260/507-383-6718 -or- email us -or- complete an ENTRY FORM and let us know what you intend on entering in the parade, your contact person and a contact phone number. ...or just show up ready to go at 6pm.
We will be lining up on 3rd Ave. facing east and Pearl Street facing north near the Emmons Lutheran Church at 6pm. The parade route will be as follows: From Emmons Lutheran Church, east on 3rd Ave., right on High St., right on Lake St., right on Main St., across Highway 69, left on Ridge St., right on Knoll Rd., right on Oak St., and ending on Todd Ave. Click here for an Emmons map.
We encourage candy, fliers, and other advertising/promotional materials to be distributed during the parade. Once again, this is a great chance to show the community what your business or organization is all about.
