Hi, I just googled my name & came to this website & I see there are many other Kara Emmons' out there. I find it very interesting. When I was growing up one other Kara & she spelled it different "Cara", but her last name wasn't the same. Over the years the name Kara has become more popular and it is great to see it. I live in NY & there are two towns in upstate NY w/the name "Emmons", also I never thought to google the town Emmons to see how many there are in the US. I know there is another Jennifer Emmons from CA that I chatted w/in the late 90s & early 2000, but never another Kara. I just wanted to tell you that it is really neat & thank you for the website. Borderfest was good. There is a band out there named Blue Ringers and they are awesome. They are from the Elysian/Waterville area. Maybe think about them for next year.

I have 2 10x12 color pictures of a little girl who was in the first grade in Emmons in 1997...Her name is Angel Ray Johnson. I've heard that it has been brought up to the city council about the cat problem. All were in favor but a couple. Pretty sad when you have diseased cats runnin around and nobody wants to do anything.

i cant wait for borderfest. why isnt there a mud bog this year, i was lookin forward to that, and why did they stop doin the tractor pulls? they should do a mudbog this year or else there goin to disappoint a lot of people
