News:
The Nunda 4-H club has been busy with many activities. On February 17th we held a Soup & Salad fund-raiser at the Emmons Legion meeting room. Our club also participated in a county wide Dad's Belgium Waffle fundraiser on March 27th. If the weather permits we will have a clean-up day at Emmons on May 5th. We will work on the playground, Gateway Park and the Welcome to Emmons sign.
Our club is going to make a memborial to Beverly Anderson by placing a park bench by the ice cream stand at the fairgrounds. Beverly worked many hours at this stand.
Some of our members enjoyed a day at the Grand Rio's Water Park in Minneapolis.
As we are preparing for the Freeborn County Fair, our club made a rule that members must attend at least 4 meetings prior to the fair to be able to exhibit at the fair. Some club members will be attending LQA training, which is for live-stock exhibitors at the fair.
