Here is some information on an upcoming meeting: A new year is here and it is time to start planning for the 2007 Borderfest Celebration. On Friday, Feb. 23rd at 7:00 pm at the Emmons Legion a meeting is planned to get started on the Big Celebration. Some of the things that we will discus at the meeting are: -Continuing with a 2 day celebration like last year -Events that will be going on during Borderfest -Johnny Holm is booked for Friday, August 17th -Parade Friday night -Entertainment for Saturday night -Softball tournament -Car cruise -Kids Games -Sponsorship -For entertainment -Raise money to do Advertising for the 2007 Borderfest Celebration Bring some more ideas with you that you would like to see happen during this Borderfest Celebration to make it a big success this year. Hope to see you all there. Tell anyone else that you know that is interested in making 2007 Borderfest a success.

Check out the Borderfest 2007 page. The "Whiskey Rose Band" will be performing for the Saturday (Aug 18) street dance. This is a great band and they will put on an excellent show!

Attendance for the Friday street dance featuring the Johnny Holm Band was approximately 1350 people. Thanks to everyone who volunteered, donated money/materials, and attended!
