EMMONS CITY COUNCIL MEETING JULY 9, 2007
Emmons City Council met on Monday, July 9, 2007 with Mayor Henschel presiding. All members were present except for Helen.
Minutes of the previous meeting stand approved as written on a motion by Imogene, seconded by Mark and carried.
Financial reports stand approved as written on a motion by Mark and seconded by Val and carried.
Bills were paid on a motion by Imogene, seconded by Val and carried.
Bill from Northwood Equipment for 179.77 was omitted from the list of bills, motion was made by Mark and seconded by Val to pay the bill. Motion carried.
Danny Christenson was granted a zoning permit for a 26x32 garage attached to the north side of his house on a motion by Mark, seconded by Imogene and carried.
Borderfest was granted a 2 day liquor licenses for the 17th& 18th of August on a motion by Imogene and seconded by Val. Motion carried.
The bills for bathrooms, garbage and law enforcement for Borderfest will be paid for by the city on a motion by Imogene and seconded by Val. Motion carried.
Emmons Development Group would like to work on getting new bathroom facility out at Gateway Park s their project. The group would like the councils permission to take on this project and be able to make ll the decisions with out coming before the council for permission on each step, but would keep the council informed on each new development. Permission was granted to go ahead with the project and make all the decisions on a motion by Val, seconded by Imogene and carried.
Ron Lange ask the council permission to move his trailer and 16x8 utility shed to a lot on the East side of Emmons Ave. Paul was going to check out a few things and get back to him.
Byford Rogness come with complaints about the Dunn’s hauling in junk and scraping it out and the noise late at night. The council is going to look into getting a noise ordinance.
